IPRA presents Curt Melo

From Official site of Curt Melo

I didn’t choose to be an artist, but I did chose to be an illustrator. I chose illustration to learn how to bring creative value to ideals through visual communication. My desired method for this is to use simplified allegory/ metaphors to visually communicate otherwise complex ideas. Editorial Illustration is my passion but my art takes many forms, If you have a creative project in mind please contact me.

My process always has handmade roots, but then grows to become heavily digital. The work is then run through a printing process, Ussually using one of the many vintage printers that fill my studio. That is how I get a grainy vintage printed look that I utilize so much. I am always striving for a minimal but meaningful visual style. A style that can speak to your audience in a clear, effective, but also quick fashion.
