Natural Havana (1941), Mexico resident since 1988. Niko work has appeared in major national and international publications, and his work has been shown in solo exhibitions, collective and in the most famous festivals in the world. He has won over 40 awards, citations and awards, among them: Merit Award, International Film Poster Exhibition in Ottawa, Canada, 1972, the Grand Prize at the International Film Posters Film Festival in Paris, France; Award merit in Graphic Design, Azcapotzalco Metropolitan Autonomous University, Mexico City 1995, has the distinction of National Culture in Cuba since 1983.
